‘IT’S RAINING DATA’ is an Interactive Art Installation part of the Interactivos? 2014 Project in MAC Birmingham, a project to bring together the creative minds of artists and digital developers.

The installation was developed by Whoun and myself. The idea behind the project is to build a physical interactive internet-connected cloud that rains data. For every bit of information there’s a drop of light falling from the cloud.

CREATIVE TECHNOLOGY

The installation was built using creative technologies such as Processing, Arduino YUN, openFrameworks and the Android SDK.

Thanks to the team and collaborators including Frank Richards, Juliana Geller, Carlos Garcia, Theodoros Foteinakis, and Sophie Bullock.
